چکیده

Poly-β-hydroxybutyrate (PHB) can promote growth and enhance immunity of aquatic animals such as gibel carp, Carassius auratus gibelio. However, the optimal dietary supplementation level feeding duration for carp are still unclear. In this study, effects various PHB levels on performance, digestive enzyme activities, immune function, disease resistance, intestinal mucosal barrier were evaluated. Six experimental diets differing in formulated, that is, 0% (P0 control), 0.5% (P0.5), 1% (P1), 2% (P2), 4% (P4), 8% (P8). Results indicated promoted fish performance significantly (p < 0.05). Compared to control group P0, lipase, protease, amylase activities P4 increased after 30 days Meanwhile, at 60 upregulated mRNA expression immune-related genes, including IL-11, ITLN, MPO, KRT-8, DUSP-1, PNP-5α 0.01). Furthermore, showed positive resistance against both viral bacterial infections exerted beneficial maintaining epithelial integrity. conclusion, or was recommended culture.

Effects of dietary supplementation of multi-enzyme on growth performance, nutrient digestibility, small intestinal digestive enzyme activities, and large intestinal selected microbiota in weanling pigs1

Two experiments were conducted to assess the effects of dietary supplementation of an exogenous multi-enzyme (EME) preparation to 35to 65-d-old piglets on apparent total tract digestibility (ATTD), growth performance, digestive enzyme activities, and selected microbial populations in feces. In Exp.1, twenty eight 35-d-old piglets were randomly assigned to 7 dietary treatments (corn-soybean base...

Effect of dietary arginine on growth, intestinal enzyme activities and gene expression in muscle, hepatopancreas and intestine of juvenile Jian carp (Cyprinus carpio var. Jian).

The present study was conducted to test the hypothesis that dietary arginine promotes digestion and absorption capacity, and, thus, enhances fish growth. This improvement might be related to the target of rapamycin (TOR) and eIF4E-binding protein (4E-BP). A total of 1200 juvenile Jian carp, Cyprinus carpio var. Jian, with an average initial weight of 6.33 (SE 0.03) g, were fed with diets contai...

Effects of Dietary Fructooligosaccharide on Digestive Enzyme Activities, Intestinal Microflora and Morphology of Growing Pigs

One hundred and twenty-eight growing barrows (Jiaxing Black×Duroc×Landrace) at an average BW of 20.8 kg were allocated to four treatments for 42 days, each of which was replicated four times with eight pigs per replicate and used to investigate the effects of fructooligosaccharide (FOS) on digestive enzyme activities, intestinal microflora and morphology of growing pigs. The pigs received the s...
